Who can enter:
Entries can be made by an organization or a section/division/branch within that organization, depending upon the choice of the applicant. Awards will be made to individuals/organizations and all Canadian organizations are eligible.
Award categories:
Awards may be given out in the following categories:
- Federal/provincial/territorial/aboriginal government, including their respective agencies, boards and commissions
- Municipal government, including their respective agencies, boards and commissions
- Health care organizations, including hospitals, regional health authorities, community/home care, long-term care, etc.
- Educational organizations, including school boards, universities, colleges, etc.
- Not-for-profit organizations

You will receive confirmation that your application has been received, which becomes the property of The Institute of Public Administration of Canada and Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Once your application has been submitted, they will be reviewed by a selection jury (the “jury”) who will determine finalists. Those individuals will be invited to Toronto (at their expense) to present their initiative to the jury (you will have approximately 30 to 45 minutes for your presentation, which includes Q&A). Upon completion of the presentations, the committee will then determine the three top initiatives. The final outcome and award will be announced at IPAC’s Annual Leadership Conference.
